SEPTEMBER
It was such a pleasure meeting all of you at Open House! I look forward to the start of the school year!
September 7-10 We will start working in our school books, learn how to properly use scissors, crayons, and glue and establish our class routine.
September 13-17 We will review colors and continue practicing our fine motor skills with lots of fun crafts.
Monday - Red and Green
Tuesday - Yellow and Purple
Wednesday - Blue and Orange
Thursday - Pink and Brown
Friday - Gray and Black
September 20- 24 More practice with fine motor skills with more detailed coloring and crafts. We will also begin review of shapes. This week we will practice the cross.
September 27-October 1 We will start having a letter of the week. This week will be L. Much of our work will be centered around learning the sound it makes, recognizing it, and tracing the letter. We will also review and practice the square.
